"Drac Plays Scientist"

Films: Dracula Vs. Frankenstein (1971)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical (Dracula), Man-Made (Monster)

Location: Civilized area/Forest

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral (Monster), Evil (Dracula)

Summary: Here's a story to boggle the mind. Dracula is a guy in an afro, Frankenstein's monster is made with his assistance, and the two eventually fight. How crazy is that? Well, not nearly enough to keep this from being slightly tedious.

History: Dr. Durea needs a new serum and the means to resurrect the monster his descendent Frankenstein made. Dracula needs an antidote for his anti-sunlight policy. Together, this unlikely duo could sow chaos in California, especially when the monster is inevitably brought back.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: Dr. Durea gets decapitated by a guillotine, while Dracula and the now berserk Monster clash. It may end with Dracula ripping the beast limb from limb, but that’s plenty of time for the sun to finish the vampire off.

Powers/Abilities: Dracula has a special demonic ring that can vaporize his enemies.

Weakness: Standard vampire weaknesses for Dracula.

Scariness Factor: 3-Dracula slightly makes up for his goofy appearance with his unexpected death ring. The Monster looks like a moldy slab of meat made live, so bully for that.

Trivia: -This film was also known as "Blood of Frankenstein", "The Revenge of Dracula", "Teenage Dracula", and "They're Coming to Get You".

-This was the final film to star Lon Chaney, Jr., and he was the mad scientist's unhinged assistant. Ow.
